The spirit of Brajamusti was absorbed into the palms of Gatotkaca left and right, granting Gatotkaca supernatural abilities.
Gatot Kaca went to Awangga where he was greeted by King Kalabendana. He was crowned the new ruler of this region. However, he was not able to stay long. He was defeated by the Duke of Karna in the battle of Bharatayuda with a thrown weapon from the Kunta Wijayandanu.
The Kunta arrows fired by the Duke of Karna killed Gatot Kaca. He was succeeded by his brother Kalabendana who became a very well-known hero in Indonesia.
